Characterize the drug release behavior of Biodegradable Polymer Coating Drug-Eluting Stent |

The controlled drug delivery in drug-eluting stents(DES) plasys a critical role in reducing restenosis in intravascular stenting. Rapamycin-elutiong metal stent were prepared through an nano spray-coating method. DES(drug-eluting stent) composed of biodegradable poly(ε-Caprolactone) and rapamycin. The study investigated that the DES were physicochemical properties. Thus, the drug release method of Cordis providing the USP apparatus profile over 24hours mirrors the 30 day in vivo porcoine profile. |
