There were 3 types of cellulose suspension solution: cellulose nano-crystal (CNC), cellulose nano-fiber (CNF) and TEMPO-oxidized cellulose nano-fibrils (OCNF). Many previous researches were focused into characterize to use for biomaterials application. for those research, the main purpose were to combined cellulose with other components to make stronger mechanical strength materials for human body application such as: wound healing, wound dressing, bone healing, anti-adhesive membrane…, the cellulose have strong mechanical strength and thermo stable, easy to conserve in long-term implantation due to the plant membrane, but in the other hand cellulose are low-degradable and the effect of the cellulose remain after wound healed still not investigated. In this research, the main purpose is to determine the biocompatibility and biodegradable behavior of 3 types nano cellulose when inject into body environment and the reaction between body with cellulose after short and long duration. For this research, the suspensions 0.5% solutions of nano cellulose were characterized by FT-IR, TEM, and morphology microscopy observation. The injectable nano-cellulose was injected subcutaneous for 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month and 3 months for in-vivo studies. The samples after scheduled time were extracted and analyzed by H&E staining for inner morphologies, cells immigration, biocompatibility and biodegradable behavior of nano-cellulose. |
