제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Polyethylenimine Functionalized Fumed Silica for Highly effective CO2 capture
초록 Due to industrial processes and land use changes, the human has used fossil fuels (coal, natural gas, and oil) for energy and transportation. So emissions of CO2, one of the greenhouse gases, are increased. The increasing CO2 emissions influences global warming, which is major environmental problem needs to improve. Polyethylenimine (PEI) is well known CO2 capturing material, frequently percolated over porous materials. Also, fumed silica (FS) is large superficial dimension, can has uniform pore size and distribution and synthesize massive amount. Thanks to that advantage, when PEI functionalized FS are synthesized via caffeic acid (FS-PEI), adsorption performance of PEI for CO2 capture is reinforced by FS. The prepared FS-PEI is characterized by FT-IR, SEM, TGA and BET.
