Metal-ceramic hybrid as a thermally conductive and electrically insulating belt for carbon fiber |
초록 |
An orderly infused metal-ceramic hybrid was fabricated as a thermally conductive and electrically insulating interface for carbon fiber (CF) reinforcement. Cobalt (Co), a ferrous thermally conductive metal, and boron nitride (BN), a light-weight thermally conductive ceramic, were synergistically used as the functional belt. Electrolessplating and electroplating were both employed to obtain the desired multilayer coating. XRD, EDS, SEM, TEM, FT-IR, and TGA were used to clearly characterize the coated fibers. Also, thermal and electrical characteristics of the final carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composite were evaluated and the results are presented. |
