In thermoelectric, inorganic materials such as bismuth telluride or antimony telluride have shown outstanding performance. However, inorganic materials are weak, fragile and high cost. In order to overcome these problems, carbon nanotubes may regard as a candidate of thermoelectric materials. In this study, we fabricated carbon nanotube/urea composite and surveyed the thermoelectric properties. There were no significant changes with exception of electrical conductivity. The electrical conductivity of the composite was enhanced with no considerable change of Seebeck coefficient. As a result, the power factor of the organic composite was higher than pure source of carbon nanotubes. |
