제목 Untethered magnetomotility of helical soft robots
초록 Magnetically actuated helical soft robots are conducive to achieving untethered manipulation of soft robots using relatively weak magnetic field. Herein, we synthesized magnetically responsive helical polymer composites with polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) matrix and carbonyl iron particles (CIPs) via two-step polymerization. Uniaxial displacement of magnet on a moving stage resulted in intermittent rolling motions of soft robots when the angular momentum exceeded rolling friction. In this presentation, various factors affecting magnetomotility of the soft robots will be discussed including velocity of magnet displacement and magnitude of magnetic field.
