A suitable technique for articular cartilage repair and replacement is still required for many reasons. Electrospinning technique has the attractive potential in fabricating cartilage scaffolds because it produces fiber diameters in the range of native ECM protein & GAG. In our previous studies, PLCL90/gelatin10 fibers showed the highest cell proliferation & biocompatibility. We prepared the fiber sheet at this composition with 1㎛ in fiber diameter, and then rolled up the fiber sheet to make cartilage scaffold( 5㎜ in diameter, 2㎜ in height).
