Conjugated Polyelectrolytes from the Catalyst-Free Polymerization of 2-Ethynylpyridine Using Sodium (bromoalkyl)benzenesulfonate |
초록 |
A new class of conjugated polyelectrolytes was effectively prepared via the catalyst-free polymerization of 2-ethynylpyridine using various sodium (bromoalkyl)benzenesulfonates in DMF. The activated acetylenic triple bond of monomeric species [(sodium N-alkylbenzenesulfonato)-2-ethynylpyridinium bromide] formed at first quaternarization process of 2-ethynylpyridine by sodium (bromoalkyl)benzenesulfonate, was susceptible to linear polymerization without any additional catalysts. Instrumental analysis data revealed that the polymer had the fully conjugated backbone system with the designed substituents.The cyclic voltammogram of composite composite exhibited irreversible electrochemical behavior between the oxidation and reduction peaks. |
