Synthetic biology for lignocellulosic bioconversion |
초록 |
Synthetic biology is an emerging technology for endowing living organisms with new biological functionalities by redesigning biological circuits. For cost-effective lignocellulosic bioconversion, cellular reprogramming of industry-friendly microorganisms is mandatory to meet specific requirements arising from hardly-fermentable components in the lignocellulosic feedstock. In this study, we present a novel synthetic eukaryotic riboswitches that are switchable by small chemicals and development of engineered Sacharomyces cerevisiae capable of efficiently converting xylose to ethanol. |
