제목 Smoke Risk Assessment of Plastic using Cone Calorimeter
초록 Plastic are diversely used architectural materials. But it is greater risk of fire and produces toxic gas. Smoke caused by the fire is responsible for about 70% of heavy casualties. Smoke (dynamic) characteristic was checked using Cone Calorimeter according to the ISO 5660-1 standard. And plastics are divided into Charring polymer (PC, PVC) and Non-charring polymer (PMMA, PE). 0.113 m2/s for PVC and 0.108 m2/s for PC in peak Smoke Production Rate highest in order. It is judged because of back effect due to the charcoal formation. Total Smoke Production increased in the order of PE 3.12 m2, PMMA 19.54 m2, PC 68.49 m2, PVC 71.96 m2. Total Smoke Production of PVC was generated 23.06 times more than that of PE.
