New Salen type molecularly imprinted ligand modified SBA-15 adsorbent for selective adsorption of Cobalt (II) |
초록 |
Metal imprinted systems are receiving attention for the effective removal of metal from the target. Salen type ligand imprinted with Co2+, modified SBA-15 is used for Co2+ adsorption from the sea water. 3-aminopropyle triethoxysilane and o-hydroxy benzaldehyde are the functional groups used for synthesis of silane precursor. The synthesized silane precursor is immobilized over SBA-15. The Silane precursor chelates strongly with cobalt acetate as the source. Epichlorohydrin (ECH) used as a cross linking agent in the chelate compound of the silane precursor. Cobalt ion imprinted silica precursor is produced by metal leaching by 0.5molar nitric acid. SBA-15 was characterized by XRD, SEM and TEM. Synthesized functional group was confirmed by H1NMR. Si-NMR is used for the confirmation of Silane precursor grafting over SBA-15. Cobalt, Lithium, Nickel, Zinc and Cadmium are the five metals used for the metal adsorption study. |
