제목 Effect of electrolyte, flow rate and current density on ionic desorption in a flow through continues deionization
초록  The desorption of rare metal ions were carried out using a flow through continues deionization system by using bi-polar membrane. The main objective of the study was to develop a chemical-free type module and to optimize the performance of the module for desorption of rare metals. Hence, in this study was using chemical free system. Only uses electrical power. The influence of several operating parameters on the overall process performance was investigated. For example, it came out that at low current density values such membranes are able to operate a perfect separation of opposite charges, resulting in a good process performance. Moreover, water transport by electro-osmosis has to be considered, hence lowering the stack performance. The flow through continues deionization system is optimization of desorption condition.
