Due to the enormous development of biotechnology, the average life expectancy of human greatly increased, which led to increase in elderly popularation. As consequence, the incidence of bone diseases is increasing. Therefore, research is underway to treate damages caused by bone-related diseases without side effects. In this investigation, a porous microsphere and hybrid scaffold were prepared and drug release kinetics was evaluated by using HPLC. The physical and chemical properties of microspheres and scaffolds were analyzed using FTIR, SEM. Their effects on osteoblast proliferation and differentiation were characterized in terms of CCK-8 and ALP activity. |
