제목 | Effects of particle size on Osmotic Backwash performance for SWRO fouling control |
초록 | The Forward Osmosis Backwash (FOB) technique induced by the osmotic pressure can reduce using of cleaning chemicals and the load on the pretreatment in seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) process. On the other hand, the cleaning efficiency is affected by various factors such as SWRO feed concentration, backwash frequency and duration during the typical RO operation period and effect of pretreatments with nominal pore size. In this study, therefore, we investigated the influence of particulate matters with different sizes in seawater on the Osmotic Backwash performance for SWRO fouling control.
