Controlled release of electrolytes in nanotubes fabricated by co-axial electrospinning |
초록 |
Controlled release technology is a recent technology which has considerable potential in the fields of medicine, pharmacy, and agriculture. Fluoride ion is commonly used in the preventive treatment of dental decay. It is used for remineralization of opaque enamel lesions which have been developed. Fluoride-releasing polymers are matrices which surround fluoride and enable controlled release of fluoride. Compomers have showed lower fluoride release values than glass ionomer cement (GIC) because of the diffusion barrier of polymer matrix, although the mechanical properties of polymer resins is predominant. Herein, to increase the release rate of fluoride ions, the nanotube containing NaF nanoparticle was produced by co-axial electrospinning. Especially, to control the release rate, various water-soluble polymers were introduced in the core region. |
