제목 Effect of Co-initiator in precipitation Polymerization
초록 We developed novel initiation process using 2, 2'- Azobis(2.4-dimethyl valeronitrile) (v-65) as main initiator in acetone & water medium with a potassium peroxodisurfate (KPS) as co-initiator. The charge of co-initiator gives electrostatic stabilization to these particles. Accordingly, these highly cross-linked particles are co-stabilized by both the self-stabilization from crosslinker and electrostatic stabilization from co-initiator. Furthermore, the influence of various reaction parameters, such as the concentration of monomer and initiator, the ratio of two initiators, the ratio of comonomer and media composition, on the particle size and polydispersity was investigated.
