제목 Ordered mesoporous alumina-supported cobalt catalysts for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis
초록 In this study, cobalt-based catalysts for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis were prepared using two different supports: γ-Al2O3 and ordered mesoporous alumina (OMA). Due to its 2-D hexagonal pore structure of OMA, impregnated Co3O4 particles can be well anchored and the mass transfer resistance is lower than that in γ-Al2O3 with random pore structure. OMA was made by the well-known evaporation-induced self-assembly method with P-123 as structure directing agent. After calcination, γ-Al2O3 and OMA supports were treated with phosphoric acid with different P contents respectively. P content can enhance the Co3O4 distribution and reducibility and increase the mechanical stability by suppressing metal-support interaction. Catalysts were made with P-treated and bare alumina materials by ethanolic incipient wetness impregnation technique. The supports materials and the catalysts were analysed by physisorption, X-ray diffraction, FT-IR, and TEM imaging analysis to investigate their characteristics.
