제목 Cobalt-Mediated Radical Polymerization of Vinyl Acetate
초록 The control of the radical polymerization of vinyl acetate (VAc) is a challenge because of its high reactivity and low steric bulk of the propagating radical. Cobalt-mediated radical polymerization (CMRP) is a very effective method to control the radical polymerization of VAc. In this study, poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc) was successfully synthesized by CMRP in the presence of V-70 as an initiator and used to prepare PVAc containing block copolymers. The molecular weights of the resulting polymers were determined by GPC and the molecular structure of block copolymers was confirmed by using a 1H-NMR spectrometer.
