제목 Synthesis and Electrochemical Properties of Comb-shape Polymers with  Carbonate Backbone for Lithium Polymer Rechargeable Battery
초록 Solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) with high ionic conductivity are good candidate for next-generation Li ion battery systems with high stability. Poly (ethylene oxide) (PEO) is one of the typical solid polymer electrolytes materials. However SPEs based on linear type PEO show low ionic conductivity at room temperature, compared with commercial liquid electrolytes and gel polymer electrolytes systems. To overcome the limitation of linear type PEO, many scientists have studied SPEs based on PEO with various structures In this work, we have prepared comb-shape polymers containing carbonate-backbone with oligoethylene glycol groups as a branch unit. These comb-shape polymers have exhibited high ionic conductivity(10-5 S/cm) compared with conventional SPEs based on linear type PEO. The SPEs have also shown improved electrochemical stability window higher than 4.5 V.
