제목 KRICT Ni-based Catalyst for Combined Steam and Carbon Dioxide Reforming of Methane
초록 The catalytic activity and long term stability during combined steam and carbon dioxide reforming of methane (SCR) was investigated on Ni based catalyst. The catalyst was reduced at 800 oC for 1 h under a flow of 10 vol% H2 balanced with N2. The reaction temperature was monitored by thermocouple placed in the middle of catalyst-bed. Product gases were analyzed by online gas chromatography equipped with a thermal conductivity detector. The prepared catalyst achieved the equilibrium conversions. The catalyst did not undergo any deactivation durig the reaction at both 700 and 850 °C during 500 h.  The results indicated that the Ni–CeO-MgO-Al2O3 is a potential catalyst for SCR due to its high activity with coke-resistant stablity.
