제목 | Polyimide porous composite with high thermal conductivity |
초록 | High thermal conductivity composite has attracted much attention because recent trends for the electronic devices have been miniaturization, higher integration. Most of the research for high thermal conductivity composite has focused on increasing thermal conductivity but in real applications, heat removal from a surface can have a greater influence on heat removal rate. Here, we made high thermal conductivity polyimide composite by dispersing boron nitride particles in polyimide. This polyimide composite finally had a porous structure, which maximized heat removal from the surface. In this research, we set the model which showed the relation between thermal conductivity and the optimal surface area. The optimal surface area was achieved by making the polyimide composite into a porous structure. Moreover, polyimide porous composite was shaped into film and fiber. The enhanced heat removal from the surface and the advantage for shaping may have strengths in real applications. |
