The aerated constructed wetland for the treatment of municipal wastewater |
| 초록 |
A constructed wetland with the aerobic tank and anaerobic/anoxic tank connected in series was employed in order to treat 100m3 raw sewage every day. The aerobic tank was kept to be aerobic with the continuous supply of air through the natural draft system. Successful biological nitrification could be obtained at the aerobic tank. The nitrate nitrogen was then finally denitrified with the consumption of remaining BOD5 and organic solids at the anaerobic/anoxic tank. Biofilm concentrations within the constructed wetland increased continuously upto 6 month operation, but thereafter remained almost unchanged upto 24 month operation. |
