제목 Metal-Polyphenol coating on the oil/water interface
초록 Metal-Polyphenol complex have attracted widespread interest because it can be formed very simply and it is robust because of coordination bond between metal ion and polyphenolic ligand. This complex also can be degradable by pH and polyphenol ligand has strong affinity to various substrate. So it can be used in many applications such as surface modification, micro-reactor, drug delivery, bio-imaging. However, in previous research, most capsule or film was fabricated on the solid substrate like glass, PDMS, solid nanoparticles. In this research, we report the Metal-Polyphenol complex fabrication on the liquid/liquid interface. Oil in water emulsion was prepared as substrate of metal-polyphenol complex. Inner phase can be easily removed by using relatively weak solvent such as ethanol for fabrication of empty capsule. Size of droplet was controlled by using microfluidic device.
