제목 Synthesis of Forsterite(Mg2SiO4)-Cordierite(Mg2Al4Si5O18) nano particles for millimeter wave and study of their properties
초록 For 5G+, 6G mobile communications, high frequency of millimeter wave region is expected to be applied for high speed and larger data transfer. Forsterite(Mg2SiO4) and Cordierite(Mg2Al4Si5O18) which has low dielectric constant(<6.8, 5) and high Q factor which is the inverse of dielectric loss at high frequency are promising crystalline materials for millimeter waves.
In this study, crystalline forsterite was hydrothermally synthesized and cordierite amorphous nano particles were synthesized by a two step process of sol-gel method, hydrothermal reaction
These synthesized forsterite and cordierite particle’s phase formations and shapes were estimated by FE-SEM, X-ray diffractometer. In addition these ceramic’s bulk properties are estimated as sintering, dielectric properties.
