제목 Dry reforming of methane on nanocomposite catalysts: Influence of core-shell morphology on catalytic performance
초록  Nickel-nanocomposite catalysts such as Ni@SiO2 and Ni@Al2O3 were systematically investigated to evaluate the influence of core-shell morphology on catalytic performance during the dry reforming of methane (DRM). The nickel-nanocomposite catalysts were synthesized by a combined reverse micelle and sol-gel technique via metal alkoxide hydrolysis and condensation. For comparison, Ni/SiO2 and Ni/α-Al2O3 catalysts were also prepared by impregnation method. The catalysts were characterized using XRD, N2-sorption, H2-TPR, H2-chemisorption, and TEM. The Ni@SiO2 and Ni@Al2O3 catalysts with a core-shell nanostructure exhibited superior catalytic activity in DRM than the catalysts prepared by impregnation of nickel on SiO2 and α-Al2O3 support. The higher catalytic activity on nanocomposite catalysts in DRM is mainly attributed to the improved sintering resistance by core-shell morphology property.
