초록 | The large capacity of olefins plants justifies interest in accurate and reliablemodels to optimize furnace design and operating conditions in order to maximizethe yields ofparticular products, typically ethylene and propylene. Theindustrial production of olefinsfrom various hydrocarbon feedstocks is carriedout in the steam cracking furnaceTheheart of a pyrolysis plant is considered to be the thermal cracking furnace,with its maincomponents, the thermal cracking reactors.An accurate model of ethylene plant can beused for the advanced control andoptimization of the plant, and the large capacity of theplant justifies theimportance and interest of the model. The key part, thermal crackingfurnace wassimulated for the ethane and naphtha cases. This study can be used furthertodevelop advanced control tasks or optimization tools for ethylene plants. |
