제목 A facile synthesis of shell-cross linked micelle using octa(3-iodopropyl) polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane as a noble cross-linking agent
초록 Shell cross-linked, nanometer-sized spherical particles that are composed of a core-shell morphology, were prepared by intramicellar quaternization of side chain functionalities along the backbone of the hydrophilic block of amphiphilic polystyrene-b-poly(vinylpyridine) block copolymers organized into micellar assemblies. First, polystyrene-block-poly(4-vinylpyridine) was synthesized by RAFT polymerization. The resulting block copolymer was self-assembled in 1-butanol, leading to the formation of core-shell micelles with PS core and P4VP shell. Quaternization of the P4VP using Octa (3-iodopropyl) POSS to give shell cross-linked spherical particles.
