제목 Anaerobic Adhesives for Reducing Fixture Time of Copper
초록 Adhesives have been used in our lives such as medical bandages and labels for boxes and so on. There are special adhesives applied on the metal, iron and copper, under the anaerobic condition. The fluctuation of electrons of metal complexes generates radicals for oxidation-reduction polymerization. O-benzoic sulfimide (saccharine) is act as li-gands and amine compounds help the polymerization faster. Dimethyl-p-toluidine, the accelator, was changed to 1-acetyl-2-phenylhydrazine for adhesive to copper. The strength between copper and adhesive was used by the Uni-versal Testing Machine (UTM). And the fixture time that the bolt or the joint fixed was measured as unscrewed by hands. We used the FT-IR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy) to check the reaction of the adhesive with copper. We found out the material that can shorten the fixture time of the adhesive for copper. The material has N, O electron rich and also double bonds which can be cross linked.
