제목 Preparation of luminescent hydrogels cross-linked by hyperbranched polymers
초록 Hydrogels have chemically or physically cross-linked three dimensional hydrophilic network structures and can hold large quantities of water. In this study, we synthesized polyacrylamide hydrogels cross-linked by water-soluble luminescent hyperbranched polymers by the free radical polymerization method. The hydrogels exhibited good tensile strength (~100 KPa) and elongation (~2000%). They showed blue emission with high intensity that was quenched by external stimuli such as pH change. The hydrogels had potential as sensing materials in water. For example, the luminescence intensity decreased in the presence of a viologen cation and recovered upon the addition of a cyanide ion.
