제목 Polymerization of 1-Ethynyl-4-fluorobenzene by Transition Metal Catalysts
초록 Acetylenic monomers can be polymerized by various types of initiators or catalysts. And, considerable research efforts have been dedicated to the polyacetylene-based conjugated polymers because of their extraordinary electronic and optical properties. The polymerization of 1-ethynyl-4-fluorobenzene was performed by various W- and Mo-based catalysts. The polymerization proceeded well to give the corresponding polymer in high yield. The electro-optical properties of poly(1-ethynyl-4-fluorobenzene) were measured and discussed. The cyclic voltamograms of the resulting poly(1-ethynyl-4-fluorobenzene) exhibited reversible electrochemical behaviors between the doped and undoped peaks.
