Syntheses of polyimide have been regarded as of importance. We studied to improve effectiveness of photo-alignment. The polyimide containing cyclobutane-1, 2, 3, 4-tetracarboxylic dianhydride (CBDA) and 4, 4′-diaminobenzophenone has been synthesized by amide bond. A mole ratio of CBDA and 4, 4′-diaminobenzophenone was 1:1. The mixed solid contains 15wt% of solvent which is n-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP). The 4,4′-diaminobenzophenone is proposed on the basis of benzophenone which has a properties of decompose with irradiated UV. The synthesized polyimide was analyzed by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and dichroic ratios. The subject under study is to shorten the UV irradiation time and to improve the orientation. |
