제목 | Electrode effects of anodized TiO2 for photocatalysis |
초록 | There are several methods for the immobilization of TiO2, such as sol-gel, CVD, sputtering and thermal oxidation. However these methods are weak adhesion with substrate. And crystalline with photocatalytic activity was not formed. Also photocatalytic reaction with these TiO2 has low efficiency because of recombination of electron-vacancy. In this work, for formation of TiO2 film, Ti plate was anodized at different anodizing conditions and their photocatalytic characteristics were studied through SEM, XRD and degradation of methylene blue. Also two anodized TiO2 plate was applied electrical potential differences as electrode for inhibiting recombination. For investigating photocatalytic activity of anodized TiO2 film, degradation reaction of methylene blue was performed we got maximum 85% of degradation ratio. Furthermore initial reaction rate was fast about five times when anodized TiO2 photocatalyst used as electrode. From these results, it is concluded that anodized TiO2 film fill the role of photocatalyst and electrode. |
