2,5-Dimethylfuran (2,5-DMF) is one of the most promised bio-mass derived liquid fuels. Because of their high energy density (8.5 kWh/L) and high research otane number (RON = 119). 5-(hydroxymethyl)furfural (HMF) is well kwon material for synthesis of DMF. 5-acetoxymethyl(furfural) (AMF), as an alternative material of HMF, has thermal stability and hydrophobicity, which made the practical isolation and purification of it possible. To efficient conversion of AMF to DMF, we studied several metal catalyst and proton source. |
