Study on pharmaceutical co-crystal formation in crystallization |

Co-crystallization is method of great interest for the pharmaceutical industry. Pharmaceurical co-crystals represented useful materials for drug products. crystal engineering and supramolecular chemistry already have moticated reserach on the design of pharmaceutical materials by directing molecular assembly of different components in the crystalline state to from co-crystals. Pharmaceutical properties of come co-crystals have also been reported such as solubility. In this study, active pharmaceutical ingredients(APIs) and co-former was chosen as a model substance. the purpose of the study is to explain formation of co-crystal. |
