제목 Synthesis of TiO2/PS and its characteristics as E-ink particles
초록 Various e-ink systems have been developed and the electrophoresis with charged particles in low dielectric medium is seen as an effective way. No matter how difficult it is to invent the new charged particles in the electrophoresis technique to overcome many defects for the sake of taking the upper hand the other e-ink’s related company, many researchers make an effort to figure out what is the importance in making the particles have much better chargeability and sustainability. In this study, we synthesized TiO2/PS by dispersion polymerization and examined its movements and particle size using a zeta potential (ELS-8000, Otsuka Electronics). SEM images are taken to study its morphology and density can be obtained by a pycnometer and finally, a cell test using ITO glass is done with black particles of 444 (Shepherd Color Co.) to confirm how particles work when an electronic field is applied.
