제목 The effects of pore structure and electrical conductivity based on a membrane as a transdermal drug delivery system
초록 Porous activated carbon fibers (ACFs) were prepared as a membrane of transdermal drug delivery system (TDDS). Carbon fibers were prepared by electrospinning and thermal treatments. The pore structure of carbon fibers was improved by chemical activation process. To improve the efficiency of TDDS controlled by electric force, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were embedded in ACFs for high electrical conductivity. The hairless mouse skin was used as a model skin after surfactant treatment for enhancing the transdermal properties of drug. The efficiency of TDDS was evaluated by Franz-diffusion cell. Eventually, the efficiency of TDDS was improved based on the effects of developed pore structure and improved electrical conductivity due to the activation process and embedded CNTs, respectively.
