TiO2 composite nanotubes for photo and electrochemical applications |

Over the past few years, arrays of 1-dimensional metal oxide nanostructures, e.g. nanotube have attracted wide interest. The synthesis by electrochemical anodization is a very simple and attractive technique for the fabrication of these self-organized metal oxide nanotubes.We will present various aspect of the electrochemical formation of self-organized TiO2 and related nanotubes and discuss about the tunable morphology of the nanotubes with different anodization parameters. This presentation gives the overview of fabrication, properties, and some applications, especially on electrochromics and photoelectrochemical applications of TiO2 based composite nanotube layers. |
