Electrophoretic adsorption of N719 dyes on TiO2 surface for applications to dye sensitized solar cells |
초록 |
Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) invented by Michael Grätzel and Brian O'Regan show great promise as an inexpensive alternative to costly silicon solar cells and an attractive candidate for a new renewable energy source, due to their reasonable photovoltaic efficiency and brief fabrication process. However, processing time of dye-adsorption by a conventional soaking method is too long in terms of commercial applications. In this study, electrophoretic method was employed to reduce the adsorption time, and we optimized dye-adsorption conditions by electrophotetic technique such as concentration of dye solution, applied voltage and adsorption time. Their influences on the performance of DSSCs will be presented. |
