제목 Emission Behavior of the Fluorescent Dye Nanocrystals Imbedded into PMMA Matrix for Luminescent Solar Concentrator
초록 Luminescent solar concentrator (LSC) has attracted some attention in the field of solar energy utilization. In comparison with conventional solar cells, it affords the merits of a variety of shapes, colors, transparencies, and flexibility. In addition, they take almost light of any angle, allow sunlight to penetrate the surface of polymer matrix, and convey concentrated light onto the edge-attached solar cell. In this study, several fluorescent dyes from diimide derivatives of aromatic tetracarboxylic acids were synthesized and grown to nanocrystal dyes. By using the casting method and thermal polymerization, the fluorescent dyes are embedded in the polymer matrix PMMA with regulating their ratio. The prepared dyes were confirmed by FT-IR, NMR, and their emission behaviors in the PMMA matrix were analyzed for the application of solar concentrating sheet.
