High-Performance Polymers based on Alkoxyphenylanthracene for Organic Thin-Film Transistors |

The new candidates for OTFTs, which were composed of alkoxyphenyl, anthracene, bithiophene and 2-naphthalene end-capper were synthesized under Yamamoto and Stille coupling reaction conditions. All of the materials were characterized by optical properties(UV-vis, PL), electric properties(cyclic voltametry), thermal properties(differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA)), 1H-NMR spectroscopy. Investigation of physical properties showed that all of the polymers have higher oxidation potential and good thermal stability. Alkoxyphenyl moieties were added at the 9,10-positions of anthracene for the solubility and crystallinity. |
