제목 Fluorescent block copolymer micelles on plasmonic metal nanoparticles for controlled photonic coupling
초록 Photonic coupling between fluorescent organic dyes with plasmonic metal nanoparticles is potentially applicable to photonic devices and biosensors because of their remarkable photonic characteristics, such as surface-plasmon enhanced emission. Manipulation of the photonic interaction, which is dependent on the distance between fluorophores and plasmonic nanoparticles, requires precise control of the position of photonic nanomaterials. In this research, we fabricated a thin film of diblock copolymer micelles combined with metal nanoparticles for the controlled coupling of fluorescence and surface plasmon. Gold nanoparticle arrays were fabricated using single-layered diblock copolymer micelles and then silver nanoparticles were grown from the gold nanoparticles. A micellar thin film, containing organic dyes, was spin-coated on these silver nanoparticles substrate. We investigated the plasmon-coupled emission of encapsulated dye including the structural analysis by FE-SEM and AFM.
