This work represents the analysis of joint interface between α-Al2O3 and metal in NaS battery. In the point of joint between α-Al2O3 and metal, it is not only important but also difficult via the thermal expansion coefficient differences of two materials. In this work, ceramic-metal joining is transformed to metal-metal joinning by using nickel electroless plating on α-Al2O3. Also, SUS316L, SUS430, KOVAR are used as metal components and Ag-Al complex material is used as joinning material. After joinning, joinning strength and interface are analyzed. Also, joinning mechanism is explained. |
