제목 | Luminescence study of stoichiometric LaOF:RE and non-stoichiometric LaO0.65F1.7:RE phosphors |
초록 | Phosphors of La(RE)OF and La(RE)O0.65F1.7 (RE=Bi3+, Eu3+, Tb3+) were prepared via a solid-state reaction using La(Bi, Eu)2O3 and NH4F precursors at 950℃ or 1050 °C for two hours [1,2]. X-ray diffraction patterns of the phosphors were obtained permitting the calculation of unit-cell parameters. The two La3+ cation sites in the non-stoichiometric LaO0.65F1.7 structure were studied by monitoring photoluminescence excitation and emission spectra of the La(RE)O0.65F1.7 (RE=Bi3+, Eu3+, Tb3+) phosphors. The energy transfer from Bi3+ to Eu3+ or Tb3+ was observed, its mechanism in the non-stoichiometric LaO0.65F1.7 structure structures is discussed. The desired Commission Internationale de l’Eclairage values, including emissions in blue-green, white, and red wavelength regions, were obtained from the La(RE)O0.65F1.7 (RE=Bi3+, Eu3+, Tb3+) phosphors.
