Controlled Organic Semiconductor Crystals for Ferroelectric Memory Application Arrays |

Organic semiconductor of the electric device such as organic transistor and memory has drawn a great attraction due to its mobility determining the device performance. Crystallinity of the organic semiconductor affects the hole and electron mobility directly engaged to the device performance. The work presents a growth of controllably patterned crystalline triisopropylsilylethynyl pentacene (TIPS-PEN) via Selective Contact Evaporation Printing (SCEP). Further crystallinity controls such as thermal and solvent vapor annealing are investigated for crystallinity control. Memory applications with ferroelectric P(VDF-TrFE) show the characteristic volatile property with On/Off ratio and data retention of 104 and 200min, respectively. |
