In spite of high thermoelectric performance in traditional inorganic crystalline thermoelecrtics, recent efforts have been made to make advances in organic thermoelectrics. The low electrical conductivity of organic materials should be overcome by the use of percolating network of SWNT in bucky paper. In this study, we used acid treated and thermal treated SWNTs and prepared bucky papers by vacuum filtration method, which provided percolating network for efficient electron transport. P-typed and n-typed thermoelectric materials were prepared with these bucky papers by encapsulating SWNT with organic compounds. And, single p/n junction was fabricated by coupling p-typed and n-typed bucky papers alternatively and surveyed a thermoelectric voltage per 50K gradient. We observed the thermoelectric power generation with increasing the number of p/n junction layers upto four. With varying a loaded resistance in circuit, this module generated electrical power output. |
