Artificial skin has widely become a trending topic nowadays since the discovery of the humanoid robot which started to mimic human intelligence and physical shapes. The artificial skin itself has to be elastic, stretchable, tough, and able to provide distinguish respond when exposed to a different environmental condition. In our study, a stimuli-responsive stretchable films hydrogel which able to give signal during movement and different stimuli have been developed. The film hydrogel exhibited stretchable behavior which acknowledged as the effect of water uptake (swelling) during dimensional or structural change by the environmental stimuli. Moreover, the distinguish signal can observe as the form of different electronic resistivity or capacitance during before and after treatment by the hydrogel specific environmental stimuli. Additionally, the film hydrogel reversibility observed which become an important task which opens the possibility to apply as an artificial electronic skin. |
