Flexible Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) have been studied actively for their potential application to both large size OLEDs display and general lighting. OLEDs using plastic substrate have many attractive features. They are ultrathin and light, in addition, it will be realized the flexible display and flexible lighting to utilize the flexibility of the substrate. In this work, we demonstrate ITO-free organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) with enhanced efficiencies by combining the high-conductivity conducting polymer PEDOT:PSS as transparent electrode and polyimide substrate as the effective optical substrate. These PEDOT:PSS electrodes were used to fabricate flexible OLEDs that exhibited similar device performance and superior flexibility to that of devices fabricated on ITO electrodes. |
