제목 Preparation of fluorescent Organic Nanoparticles in Polymer Hybrid Silica Matrix for Optical Data Storage Application
초록 Fluorescent film combined with appropriate soft lithography can be used as a possible medium for read only data storage system. Recently, It was reported that a new class of organic nano-particles(CN-MBE)prepared by simple reprecipitation method exhibits a strongly enhanced fluorescence emission. CN-MBE (1-cyano-trans-1,2-bis-(4'-methylbiphenyl)ethylene) is very weakly fluorescent in solution, but the intensity is increased by almost 700 times in the nano-particles. The embedding of molecules in a rigid matrix leads to isolation of the active species that hinders intermolecular interaction and intra-molecular rearrangement, protects the active molecule from the environmental attack and/or photo-fragmentation and increases the life of the material. In order to improve the affinity between the layers, we prepared organic-inorganic hybrid multi-layered films.
