제목 | Application of organic acids and statistical optimization for Poly-3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate (P3HB-co-3HV) production by Halomonas sp. |
초록 | Polyhydroxyalkanoate(PHA) is bio-degradable macromolecule which is regarded as alternative plastic materials. In this study, organic acids contains from food waste was used to produce PHA, and investigated of organic acids utilization activities by Halomonas sp.. In addition, the various combination of organic acids as carbon source was evaluated for PHA production. As a result, mixture of acetate and lactate showed the best cell growth, organic acids utilization rates and PHA production compared with other mixture samples, result in 2.9 g/L of biomass, 1.4 g/L of PHA and 44% of PHA content, respectively.
