제목 Improving the Mechanical Properties of Nano-toughened High-Tg Epoxy Resin
초록 High glass transitiontemperature (Tg) and nano-toughened epoxy resins have been used in versatile industrialareas such as automotive and electronics. In this study, nano-structured toughenerssuch as branched pre-polymer, linear pre-polymer, and CSR particles to improvethe mechanical properties of high Tg epoxy resins. In high Tg epoxy system,naphthalene- and novolac-base epoxy and cyanate ester were used to achieve a highTg more than 210℃ all the time in this study. The adhesion strengths ofcured epoxy resin gradually increased with increasing the pre-polymer and CSR loading% in the epoxy resin. Over 15 wt% loading of CSR and pre-polymers, the fracturetoughness was significantly increased over 1,000 J/m2 and the adhesion strengthapproached to 25 MPa.​
